Day overview

Day 1

Depart early morning from Jakarta for a 6 to 8-hour drive to Ujung Kulon National Park, partly along the coastline. Meet your guide and porters at the last village and take a short hike into the forest to set up camp for the first night.

Day 2

Wake up early to the sounds of gibbons and monkeys, enjoy breakfast, and embark on a 4 to 6-hour hike through the forest for wildlife encounters. Return to camp for a relaxed afternoon and evening.

Day 3

Rise early for a morning hike, hoping for wildlife action, then return to camp, break up, and walk back to the village. Spend the last evening at a beach homestay, enjoying village life and possibly spotting crocodiles in the sea.

Day 4

After breakfast and a possible visit to the local primary school, depart back to Jakarta.
