Day overview

Day 1

Depart early morning by car from Jakarta to the starting point in Gede Pangrango National Park. After a 2-3 hour drive, begin ascending the volcano with your guide and porter towards camp Batu Kukus at 1,940 meters. Enjoy a well-deserved dinner and rest.

Day 2

Rise early for breakfast and a 3-5 hour hike to the summit of Gunung Pangrango at 3,019 meters. Descend to camp at Kandang Badak at 2,405 meters.

Day 3

Start early for a 2-3 hour ascent to the summit of Gunung Gede at 2,958 meters. Then, descend for 4-5 hours to the village of Cibodas, where transport back to Jakarta awaits.
